CJ Smith knew at a very young age that doing hair was her passion and today it is very apparent that she found her calling. She has been a licensed hair and makeup artist for sixteen years.
During the beginning of or her career, CJ apprenticed for two years in a prestigious salon where she watched and learned her techniques from long time hair industry veterans.
Through the years she has participated in numerous trade shows and classes to stay up to date on the latest trends in hair and makeup. She has taken advanced training courses in cutting, color and highlighting with Redken, Logics and Paul Mitchell. Color and highlighting is a true science, and CJ believes it takes several steps in obtaining the final end result.
Living in the Nashville area for 14 years, she has worked with some of the best in film and music industry. AMAX modeling & talent agency, Nasvhille Life Styles and Premier Bride to name a few. Other services that CJ offers are facial waxing, makeup application and fabulous updo’s.
She can be as professional as the job calls for, but has been known to have fun and cut up with her clients. CJ has a fabulous daughter that is 7 years old, who she truly adores.
